Why delivery confirmation is critical
Confirming delivery in AADOPS is the action that triggers escrow release. When you mark a shipment as delivered, the system notifies the buyer to confirm receipt. If the buyer confirms β or if 72 hours pass without a dispute β the escrow funds are released to the seller. Your delivery confirmation is the evidence that the job was done.
How to confirm delivery
- Go to Logistics β Active deliveries
- Open the delivery you have completed
- Click Confirm delivery
- Enter the delivery date and time
- Enter the name and contact of the person who received the goods at the delivery location
- Upload proof of delivery β photograph of goods at the delivery location, signed delivery note, or both
- Click Confirm
The shipment status updates to Delivered. The buyer is notified to confirm receipt and release escrow.
What counts as valid proof of delivery
- A photograph of the goods at the delivery address
- A photograph of the buyer or their representative with the goods
- A signed delivery note or waybill
- Any combination of the above
Note: Never mark a delivery as confirmed before it has actually been made. False delivery confirmation in AADOPS is a serious violation that can result in your provider account being suspended. It also triggers escrow release for goods that the buyer has not received β creating a dispute you will be liable for.
