How tracking works on AADOPS

AADOPS tracks shipments through status updates β€” each stage of a delivery is recorded when it happens. All parties β€” seller, buyer, and logistics provider β€” can see the current status of every active shipment. This creates a transparent delivery chain that protects everyone and reduces the need for phone calls to find out where a shipment is.

For logistics providers β€” updating shipment status

You update the shipment status as the delivery progresses. Open the active delivery from Logistics β†’ Active deliveries. Click Update status and select the current stage:

  • En route to pickup β€” driver is heading to the seller's location
  • At pickup location β€” driver has arrived and is collecting goods
  • Goods collected β€” cargo loaded, en route to delivery
  • In transit β€” on the way to the buyer
  • At delivery location β€” arrived at buyer's address
  • Delivered β€” goods handed over to buyer

For buyers and sellers β€” viewing shipment status

Sellers track their outgoing shipments from Marketplace β†’ Orders β†’ the specific order. Buyers track their incoming shipments from Marketplace β†’ My orders. Both see the same real-time status updates as the logistics provider records them.

Tip: Update the shipment status at every stage β€” especially when goods are collected and when you arrive at the delivery location. These two updates are the most important for the buyer, who is waiting to receive their goods and confirm delivery to release escrow.
