When to remove a staff member

Remove a staff member immediately when they leave your business β€” whether through resignation, termination, or end of contract. A former employee with active AADOPS access can view your sales data, customer records, and product pricing. Remove access on their last day, not later.

How to remove a staff member

  1. Go to Settings β†’ Staff
  2. Find the staff member you want to remove
  3. Click the three-dot menu next to their name
  4. Select Remove staff member
  5. Confirm the action

Their access is revoked immediately. If they are currently logged in, they are logged out automatically within a few minutes. They cannot log back in.

What happens to their records

Removing a staff member does not delete any records they created. Sales they processed, purchases they recorded, and consumption entries they made all remain in your system β€” attributed to their name. This preserves your audit trail.

What happens to their login

Their email address is freed. If you hire a replacement, you can invite a new staff member using the same email address if needed.

Note: If a staff member's device is lost or stolen, remove them from your AADOPS account immediately even if they are still employed. Invite them again from a known secure device. This invalidates any saved sessions on the lost device.
