AADOPS works without internet

The AADOPS POS is designed for Nigerian market conditions β€” which means it works even when your internet connection is unreliable or absent. If your connection drops mid-session, keep selling. Nothing stops.

What works offline

  • Processing sales on the POS
  • Accepting cash payments
  • Printing receipts to a locally connected printer
  • Viewing products and prices
  • Applying discounts

What requires internet

  • Processing card or transfer payments through Flutterwave
  • Syncing sales to the dashboard and reports
  • Accessing the marketplace
  • Sending receipts by email or WhatsApp

How sync works when you reconnect

All sales made while offline are stored locally on your device. When your internet connection returns, AADOPS automatically syncs all pending sales to your account. Your dashboard, reports, and inventory levels update to reflect everything that was sold during the offline period.

The sync happens in the background β€” you do not need to do anything. A small indicator shows when a sync is in progress.

How to know you are offline

A banner appears at the top of the POS screen when AADOPS detects no internet connection. It reads: Working offline β€” sales will sync when you reconnect. The banner disappears automatically when connectivity is restored.

Note: Offline mode stores sales on the device you are using. If you clear your browser cache or switch to a different device while offline, pending sales that have not yet synced may be lost. Keep the POS open on the same device until sync completes after reconnecting.
