What KYB verification is
KYB (Know Your Business) is the process of verifying your business as a registered legal entity in Nigeria. It is done using your Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) registration number. Once verified, your marketplace profile displays a Verified Business badge — the highest trust tier on AADOPS.

What you need before starting
- Your CAC registration number — the RC number, BN number, or IT number issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission
- Your business type: RC (registered company), BN (business name), IT (incorporated trustee), or LLP
- KYC individual verification must be completed first
Step 1 — Go to Verification
Click your account name in the top right corner of your dashboard, then click Verification.
Step 2 — Start KYB
Click Verify my business. Enter your CAC registration number — digits only, no prefixes. Select your business type from the dropdown.
Step 3 — Submit
Review your details and click Submit for verification. Your application is sent to AADOPS's verification partner for processing against the CAC database.
Step 4 — Wait for review
KYB verification is typically processed within 24 to 72 hours. You will receive an email when approved or if additional information is needed.
