What the marketplace is

The AADOPS marketplace is a B2B trading platform where verified Nigerian businesses buy and sell wholesale goods with each other. It connects farmers with food processors, manufacturers with retailers, and producers with buyers β€” all within one trusted, escrow-protected environment.

This is not a consumer marketplace. There are no individual shoppers. Every buyer on the marketplace is a business β€” a trader stocking their shop, a manufacturer sourcing raw materials, a processor buying agricultural produce. Minimum order quantities reflect this.

Who can list on the marketplace

Any seller, farmer, or producer on a Standard plan or above can list on the marketplace. Before your listings become visible to buyers, you need:

  • A Standard plan or above
  • At least basic KYC verification completed
  • At least one published listing

Who can buy on the marketplace

Any authenticated AADOPS user on any plan can browse and buy. You do not need a Standard plan to purchase β€” only to sell.

How transactions are protected

Every marketplace transaction is escrow-protected. When a buyer places an order, their payment is held in escrow β€” not released to the seller until delivery is confirmed. This protects both sides: the buyer knows they will get what they paid for, and the seller knows payment is secured before they dispatch.

Verified trust badges

Sellers who have completed KYC (individual) or KYB (business) verification display a verified badge on their listings. Buyers can see at a glance who is verified and who is not. Verified sellers rank higher in search results and consistently receive more orders.

Tip: Complete your KYC or KYB verification before creating your first listing. A verified badge significantly increases buyer confidence and your chances of receiving orders.
