Supported receipt printers
AADOPS supports standard USB and Bluetooth thermal receipt printers in 58mm and 80mm paper widths. Common compatible models include Epson TM series, XPrinter, and most generic thermal printers that appear as a standard printer in your operating system. Network (LAN) printers are also supported on desktop browsers.
Connecting a USB printer
- Connect the printer to your computer via USB cable and switch it on
- Your operating system should detect and install it automatically. If not, install the printer driver from the manufacturer's website.
- In AADOPS, go to Settings β Hardware β Receipt printer
- Click Detect printers. AADOPS lists all printers currently connected to your device.
- Select your printer from the list
- Choose your paper width β 58mm or 80mm
- Click Print test receipt to confirm it is working correctly
- Click Save
Connecting a Bluetooth printer
- Pair the printer with your device via your operating system's Bluetooth settings first
- Once paired, it appears in your device's printer list
- Follow the same steps as USB connection from step 3 above
Printing from the POS
Once your printer is configured, a Print receipt button appears on the POS sale confirmation screen. Click it to print the receipt immediately. The receipt includes your business name, logo, items sold, prices, payment method, and the date and time of the sale.
Tip: Keep a spare roll of thermal paper behind the counter. Running out of paper mid-trading day is a common and entirely avoidable disruption. A box of 10 rolls costs less than β¦2,000 and lasts months in most retail operations.
