What commission is

AADOPS charges a commission on every completed marketplace transaction. This commission covers the cost of the escrow service, payment processing, verification infrastructure, and platform operations. It is deducted automatically before disbursement β€” you never have to pay it separately.

How commission is calculated

Commission is a percentage of the total order value. It is calculated on the gross amount the buyer paid β€” before any deductions. The commission rate may vary by plan tier β€” sellers on higher plans may receive lower commission rates.

Where to see your commission rate

Go to Settings β†’ Marketplace settings. Your current commission rate is displayed there. You can also see the commission rate at the bottom of any completed order detail page.

How deduction works

When escrow releases on a completed order:

  1. AADOPS calculates the commission on the gross order value
  2. The commission is deducted from the escrow amount
  3. The net amount β€” order value minus commission β€” is transferred to your bank account

Your disbursement record in Marketplace β†’ Payments shows the gross amount, the commission deducted, and the net amount transferred for every order.

Commission on disputed orders

If a dispute is resolved in the buyer's favour and funds are refunded, no commission is charged β€” because no sale was completed. If a dispute is resolved in the seller's favour, normal commission applies.

Note: Commission rates are set by AADOPS and may change. You will be notified of any changes to commission rates before they take effect. Your current rate is always visible in Settings β†’ Marketplace settings.
