From harvest to marketplace listing
When you record a harvest in AADOPS, a harvest batch is created in your inventory. You can list this batch directly on the marketplace β no need to create a separate product. The listing pulls the crop name, grade breakdown, and available quantity from your harvest record.
Step 1 β Go to your harvest batch
Go to Farmer β Harvest batches. Find the harvest you want to list.
Step 2 β Click Create listing
Click Create marketplace listing. The listing form pre-fills with your crop name, grade, and available quantity.
Step 3 β Complete the listing
- Price per unit β your asking price per kg, bag, or tonne. Consider your cost per kilogram, transport costs, and marketplace commission when setting this.
- Minimum order quantity β the smallest quantity you will accept per order
- Available quantity β how much of this harvest you are making available for marketplace orders. You can list a portion and sell the rest locally.
- Description β details buyers need: growing location, variety, how it was stored, moisture content, any certifications
- Volume pricing tiers β different prices for different order sizes (optional but effective for attracting bulk buyers)
Step 4 β Publish
Click Publish listing. Your harvest is immediately visible to buyers searching by crop type, location, grade, and price.
